  The Benefits of Hypnobabies

  • Hypnobabies is a complete childbirth education series. The class is a total of 18 hours with information on nutrition, consumer issues and all aspects of birthing.

  • Materials: Each Hypnobabies couple receives 7 hypnosis CD's, the Hypnobabies workbook, a CD for the birth partner, the Quick Reference guide for labor, the Birth Partner's Guide, 5 written scripts, and a perineal massage booklet.

  • Eyes open hypnosis techniques are utilized that allow you to remain completely comfortable as you move around and talk during your labor.

  • Class 6 includes a Birth Rehearsal. It will boost your self-confidence on how to use the Hypnobabies techniques during labor.

  • Hypno-anesthesia techniques are taught that allow you to easily remain comfortable during your birthing time.

 

How Hypnobabies Differs From Other Childbirth Hypnosis Programs?

  1. In Hypnobabies, our objectives are to help you bond with your baby in utero, teach you how to stay healthy and low risk, how to be an excellent consumer and to trust your body, baby and mind.
  2. Hypnobabies is NOT a regular birth hypnosis class.  Hypnobabies uses medical hypnotic anesthesia techniques, as opposed to simple visualization and imagery.
  3. We fully train our Birth Partners.  We help them grasp the extent of their role in the preparation for baby's birth.
  4. Hypnobabies students participate in a hypnosis script each week in class and then have that same script to work with at home.  This makes a huge difference in programming the inner mind for success.  It is called compounding and is necessary for the hypnotic suggestions to be retained by the woman's subconscious mind.
  5. Hypnobabies also has "Eyes Open Childbirth Hypnosis".  This allows the hypno-mom to walk and talk and move around freely and yet be completely relaxed and comfortable and still deeply in hypnosis.
  6. We do a Birthing Rehearsal in Class 6 so hypno-moms gain experience using their actual Hypnobabies techniques while utilizing many different labor positions *while in hypnosis in class*.  This is a huge confidence builder for both moms and dads.
  7. Unique to Hypnobabies is our Birth Visualization in which you can mentally and emotionally practice entering labor, experience your comfortable birthing techniques and give birth easily and in a very detailed and personal way.  This helps the subconscious mind to produce exactly the kind of birthing you want.  (Athletes like Tiger Woods use this technique to prepare and anticipate success, just like our hypno-moms.)
  8. Our students never have to guess how to use their Hypnobabies tools.  The clear and concise Quick Reference Guide details how the techniques should be used during labor.  The Birth Guide CD, also, helps keep the mom deeply in hypnosis with constant hypnotic relaxation and hypno-anesthesia suggestions.  These can be used throughout the entire first stage of labor. 
  9. Hypnobabies instructors are required to have a trained background in Childbirth and a minimum of 50 hours of Hypnosis training.
